 COMPUTERS AND TECHNOLOGY

BTT10, BTT20, INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY
GRADE 9-10, OPEN, (1 CREDIT)

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • Basic computer terminology and functions
  • Basic skills using standard office application software such as the MS-OFFICE SUITE (MS-OFFICE includes MS-WORD, MS-ACCESS, MS-EXCEL)
  • Basic internet skills

HOW YOU WILL LEARN:

  • Lectures
  • Hands-on practice
  • In-class assignments
  • Independent study
Course Length:
 2 hours a day, Monday – Friday for 9 weeks
Number of Credits:
 The students get 1 credit after passing the course successfully
Other Information:
 This course can be taken as a “stand alone” course or as part of the Office Assistant Program
