BAI3E, Introduction to Accounting
Grade 11, Workplace Preparation, (1 credit)

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • This course will introduce the purpose of accounting in business. Students will study various types of business and business ownership and ways in which accounting procedures are applied to the service businesses with regards to recording transactions, preparing financial statements and analyzing the process of cash management
  • Students will also learn about risks related to credit sales and about the collection of debts.

Course Length:
 The course will cover everything about Introductory Accounting in 2 hours a day for 9 weeks
Number of Credits:
 The students get 1 credit after passing the course successfully

 No prerequisite

 This course is offered by itself or as a part of the accounting co-op package
