• be familiar with the role of the personal services industry locally, provincially and nationally
• describe industry standards for Aesthetics work environments
• demonstrate correct use of tools and equipment
• experience fundamentals of salon management through use of computer software
• earn three credits towards your OSSD

Students may take co-op after they have successfully completed the course
TPJ2O may be taken only as part of a Career Pathway Certificate Program

• explore different techniques in hair removal-specializing in waxing
• practice professional day and evening applications
• introduction to theatrical and special event make up
• learn how to give facial and skin care
• expand your horizons and acquaint yourself with industry practice standards through field trips, special guest speaker seminars in the areas of reflexology, podiatry, dermatology
