Health and Personal Services Technology, Grade 10, Open (3 credits)
This course emphasizes technological applications in the areas
of health care and personal services. Students will learn to
describe and evaluate professional practices and principles;
to select and use technical resources to solve problems; and
to use materials, tools, and equipment safely. They will also
acquire transferable skills for changing work environments,
personal management skills, and knowledge of entry requirements
for careers in this area.
